TRIP 1 -- "BEARS AND VOLCANOES"
DESCRIPTION:
- 10-Days of easy trekking and rafting on Kamchatka's volcanoes and rivers
SCHEDULE:
- July 24th - August 5th -- Group leader Yegor Churakov
- August 15th - August 27th -- Group leader Nick Zag
COST:
- The land cost for indivduals is $1,290. For groups of 6 or more, the cost per person is $1080.
ITINERARY:
- Day 1. Arrival to Petropavlovsk. Transfer to hotel "Petropavlovsk". Check-in. Afternoon sightseeing tour in P.-K. Welcome dinner with the "WR" guides.
- Day 2. . Prepare for the off road drive to Timonovskiye Springs at mt. Bakening up-north from P.-K.Transfer by 6WD "URAL" toward Timonovskiye Springs. Exciting river Avacha cross and continue till a horse ranch on the Skhatzik river (look at the map). Overnight in tents.
- Day 3. Continue off-road drive to the basecamp at the Timonovskiye Springs. Evening hot bath session.
- Day 4. Hiking up and exploring hot springs in the wilderness. Afternoon walk to the high waterfalls in the mountains. Overnight at the basecamp.
- Day 5. Drive back to the Levaya Avacha River. Afternoon rafting exercises and floating down the river through the wilderness to the Big Rapid. Overnight in tents.
- Day 6.Rafting through the Big Rapid and continue down till the river Avacha junction. Transfer by the "URAL" back to Petropavlovsk. Overnight in the hotel.
- Day 7. Optional flight to the Valley of Geysers (3 hours heliflight program). Afternoon jeep transfer to the Avacha volcano Base Camp by jeep. Overnight in tents.
- Day 8. Guided ascent on the Avacha (2751 m). Return to the base camp. Transfer to Paratunka Hot Springs Resort. Overnight in the resort.
- Day 9.Return to the city. Free time. Optional sea boat excursion around the Avacha Bay. Evening farewell dinner.
- Day 10.Morning - free time in the city. Shoping. Afternoon - transfer to the airport "Elizovo". Departure.
The program fits to the Alaska Airlines schedule (PK - Anchorige - Seattle) and "Aeroflot" schedule from Moscow and Khabarovsk. If you would like to travel via Moscow we can book domestic flight (actually the longest domestic flight in the world) for a much better deal for you.
The price includes:
all accommodations on Kamchatka (3 nights in hotel, 2 in a wooden lodge, 3 in tents, 1 in a hot springs resort), meals (3 times a day), overland transport, camping crew and guides services, tents and camping stuff, permits and licenses for national reserves. The flight to the Valley of Geysers is paid separately upon arrival.

- Rafting and horseback trekking program.

TRIP 3 -- "BY COSSACK'S TRAILS""
DESCRIPTION:
- 14-days horseback trekking to holy Mount Bakening.
